This is a belated but sincere thank you to your firm for excellent service. Around 5:30 p.m. one week ago today (July 13) I was en route from Ames to Omaha when my 2004 Chevrolet Venture died on I-80 north of Atlantic.

OnStar arranged for a towing service and well within the 30-minute window promised by GM Roadside Assistance your driver arrived.

A downpour had hit the area and your employee worked diligently without complaint in the heavy rain to get my minivan pulled onto the trailer and haul it (and me) to Deter Auto in Atlantic. He was soaked to the skin in the heavy rain.

Once the car was safely unloaded at Deter's, the driver took me to the Super 8 motel where I spent the night. (I caught a ride into Omaha with a colleague on Friday morning.)

On top of all of this great service, we had a pleasant conversation on the drive into Atlantic.

I am embarrassed that I didn't get your driver's name, but I'm sure you can determine who it was. Please pass along my thanks for his hard work and excellent customer service.

Getting stalled along I-80 in a rainstorm isn't the most pleasant experience, but your driver did all he could to make it a better experience.
